Low Input Lag HDTV - Panasonic TC-L32S1

Many sources on the internet say the Panasonic TC-L32S1 has very low input lag due to its IPS-Alpha panel. However, they appear to be in short supply since it's a discontinued model. The TC-L32S1 is available in used condition and I've seen a new one offered for over $700. Hopefully there are better options out there.

Input Lag Chronicles Goals and Objectives

According to Wikipedia input lag is defined as follows:

Input lag is a phenomenon associated with some types of LCD displays, and nearly all types of HDTVs, that refers to latency, or lag measured by the difference between the time a signal is input into a display and the time it is shown by the display. This lag time has been measured as high as 68ms,[1] or the equivalent of 3-4 frames on a 60 Hz display. Input lag is not to be confused with pixel response time.

Video game players can gain an edge over their brethren by having a TV with low input lag levels. Information regarding input lag is not readily available in a user friendly format. This searchable blog will gather information from sources around the world and report the findings.
